God Bless The Internet

I'm sure I'm not alone when I say this but the Internet changed my life. Sometimes, more times than others, I can't help but wonder if the Internet is the Prophecy of our Generation or the beautiful mysterious box Pandora regrettably opened.

It'd be extremely ignorant of me to sit here, on my laptop, using Broadband I pay for monthly (hoping to get Fibre soon!), to stay connected to the Internet in order for me to write this post, whilst also connected on my phone, my T.V, even my Amazon Echo and preach how the internets the big bad wolf, that's increased depression, anxiety and other Mental Illnesses. (Yes I own an Amazon Echo, and no don't just take in the first part of that extremely long sentence, pay grave attention on the last.)

Mental Illness has risen phenomenally. A hand full of cases are related to the fact of the power of Social Media and how everyone is trying to be something they are not and being fed rubbish that doesn't benefit them but only the people pushing out the content.

See as a Full Time Super Hero before anything else, my main aim is to guide and show people the best way to use the Internet and how to not let it influence you into trying to fit in but help people embrace their differences and be proud to flaunt them.

Yes God Bless the Internet but who are Social Influencers and when did everyone start feeling entitled?

Of course we all are special and unique in our own ways but having such power to influence not only the behaviours of people but their emotions too is crazy.

Take a break, have a Kit Kat.

How much time are you spending on Social Media? If you have a smart phone you can check your usage and it will show you how much time you're spending on certain Apps. If you don't have a smart phone and don't use Social Media, I envy you. Yes Cocaine is a hell of a drug (not speaking from personal experience), but have you ever got more than 3 replies on a post and made people laugh or react in some way? Goodbye Cocaine, Hello Internet!

I have to stress the beauty behind the whole birth and boom of the Internet as it fascinates me how something less than the age of my Parents managed to take complete control and dominate the world.

I could honestly write a whole 40 page report on my fascination and revelation of the Internet but unfortunately that isn't my intention for this blog.

From loads of hours of Binge watching, procrastinating and time wasting with Friends, I've decided to take control of what I feel is appropriate and beneficial for not only myself or other people my age but for everyone to gain knowledge of and from the Internet and how to benefit from it.

Pay attention because I hate repeating myself and God knows how long this epiphany's going to last.
