“A reader lives a thousand lives before he dies . . . The man who never reads lives only one.” – George R.R. Martin

I was struggling to choose between ‘Unlearning Everything You Know’ and Reading but I‘m glad I stuck to my guns and decided on ‘Reading’ because I had only learnt how to unlearn by learning how to read in order to learn to unlearn, if anything of that makes sense.

So here it is, my first official advice to all of you joining me in this spontaneous adventure, please be prepared to read and learn to read, because although I’ve only recently learnt how to read, I’ve only just recently learnt how to write too and boy am I excited.

I could write a book on the importance of reading and why it is crucial to my personal journey and any journey you’re taking or willing to take, in order to better yourself, understand yourself or even achieve your goal, but that would defeat my purpose and this is a brief preview and stepping stone for me to eventually write a book on either The Importance of Reading and Learning or how I got to where I will be in a couple of years time.

“Show up everyday for 2 years!”

Check out this link to a more broken down explanation of the importance of reading; please check it out before you make the same horrible mistake I did and continue to sweep it under the carpet and then before you know it, you’re 21+ communicating is googoo gaagaa to peers, customers, colleagues and others, wondering why no one, or your life, is taken you seriously.
